What we work on

Materials we treat

The laser adjusts to the material. Here are the main surfaces we treat.

Metal

Metal

The laser targets surface contamination without wearing down the original metal, with settings adjusted to each alloy: steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and aluminum.

Wood

Wood

Removes only surface contaminants (paint, varnish, soot) without sanding or chemicals. We work on hardwoods like oak or maple, which hold up well to the process.

Stone and concrete

Stone & concrete

Ideal for facades, monuments, and heritage surfaces: concrete, brick, granite, and limestone. The laser removes dirt, paint, or graffiti without wearing down the original texture, an important concern for the limestone of historic buildings, where sandblasting permanently damages the surface.

What we solve

Laser cleaning applications

The same technology applied to very different surface problems.

Rust and corrosion removal

Machinery, steel structures, farm equipment before resale or repair. Rust vaporizes at a much lower energy threshold than healthy metal, which lets us remove it without touching what's underneath.

Steel Cast iron Aluminum

Paint, varnish & coating removal

Layer-by-layer stripping down to the original material, with no abrasion. On hardwood, a pulsed laser setting delivers a clean result without scorching the surface.

Metal Hardwood

Graffiti removal

On brick, concrete, limestone, granite, and metal, with no chemicals or abrasive blasting.

Brick Concrete Limestone Granite Metal

Injection mould & die maintenance

Without wearing down tooling or marking polished surfaces, extending their service life and reducing production downtime.

Steel Stainless

Oxidation, scale & weld discoloration removal

On hot-rolled or aged metal, before treatment or coating. On welded stainless steel, removing heat discoloration also restores corrosion resistance, not just the appearance.

Steel Stainless

Soot cleaning

After a fire or prolonged exposure to industrial deposits, without damaging sensitive surfaces underneath.

Metal Stone Concrete

Oil & grease removal on equipment

No degreasing agents, directly on parts in place whenever possible. Ideal for preventive maintenance.

Metal

Biofilm removal

On piping, tanks, and equipment exposed to moisture, with no chemicals or abrasives, restoring surface hygiene and efficiency.

Metal Concrete

Vehicle body stripping

On all vehicle types, including classic cars, trucks, and trailers. Preserves the original sheet metal, unlike sandblasting.

Our approach

How we work

Every project follows the same process, from first contact to the end of the job. Nothing is left to chance.

  1. 01

    You describe the project

By form, email, or phone. Based on your description or photos, we get an initial sense of the project and confirm whether laser is the right approach.

  2. 02

    We schedule an on-site visit

Together we set a date to come to your site, at a time that works for you.

  3. 03

    Assessment & demonstration if needed

On site, we assess the project conditions: safety, feasibility, technical constraints. On request, a demonstration test on a targeted area can be carried out (fees apply) to show you directly how the laser acts on your material.

  4. 04

    Detailed quote

You receive a quote based on what we saw on site: surface area to treat, type of contamination, time required.

  5. 05

    The job

Once the quote is accepted, we set a date for the work. The job is done on your site with our mobile equipment, and the surface is ready for the next step as soon as the job is finished.

Frequently asked questions

Before you contact us

It depends on the surface area and the type of contamination. In most cases, laser stripping is faster than sandblasting or chemical stripping, especially once you factor in the prep and cleanup time those methods require.

In many cases, yes. That's one of the major advantages of laser stripping: the equipment adapts to the part's geometry on site, with no disassembly or transport needed.

No. Thanks to our training and careful process, the laser is precisely calibrated for each type of surface. It targets only the contamination (rust, paint, residue, etc.) that absorbs energy differently than the underlying material. The part keeps its original dimensions and properties.

As an added safeguard, Laztec Solution carries civil liability insurance and garage insurance. If something goes wrong, you're not left on your own: material damage related to the job is covered.
